Welcome to the Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center, serving Beaufort, Allendale, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper, Counties, South Carolina.  CECMHC offers a comprehensive array of services with priorities given to adults, children and their families affected by serious mental illnesses and significant emotional disorders.

The Outpatient Programs are CARF Accredited. The Center is a component of the S.C. Department of Mental Health, and has a caseload of about 2000 persons, served by 90 staff members across the five counties.

Our Priorities: The Center will give priority to adults and children with serious mental illnesses and serious emotional disturbances and will fulfill its legislative mandates. We will work cooperatively with other agencies, both private and public, to assure continuity of services based on the needs of the individual.
